It's interesting to see what happens in the Fowler Williams thread. Even though F&W was a fairly small company, I noticed you don't get very far before people are chiming in with their stories or who knew somebody who worked for them etc. For that matter my TM at Yellow came from F&W- I was tempted to ask if anyone knew him.For all the fallen flags as well as the old but surviving giants, there's no telling how many old timers might enjoy hearing the experiences of their co-workers from other parts of the country. Since there was so much turmoil in the industry in the 80's, there are a lot of older drivers, mechanics, and others out here who worked a lot of places and the potential for all kinds of contacts among them could be fun. Plus who doesn't like a good trucking story? The title of each thread could simply be the name of a company and see where it goes from there.
