The apparatus builder was not the chassis builder for this fire truck. Can you name both ? Emblem removed.

The chassis has lines of either Pirsch or Seagraves but the body is identical to a couple American Lafrance rigs that I have worked on in years gone by.

I go with Pirsch.
Underlying chassis/body is not clear to me.
I think I looked at it at West Sprinfield.
I'm in the market for wood fire truck ladders and one of the guys standing around these was a Pirsch guy.
Pirsch made their own ladders, wood and aluminum.

Being a Massachusetts truck I will go with Maxim on a Pirsch chassis.

Everyone is onto the Pirsch part, but the chassis builder will be pretty difficult unless you read the windshield placcard like I did ! The year is 1941, for whatever that is worth. And the 1954 Pirsch next to it had a chassis by the same builder. And it is surprising for a New England truck.
