I ran across a 1967 Freightliner not far away for fairly cheap last night. Makes me wish I was home and had space for it. For around scrap value. Fairly large cab for a 67', sticks and dual everything. Owner thinks it was originally a V12 truck, currently has 8V92 power. Looks straight and complete. Obviously being at work I have little to now chance of pulling off a buy. A truck like that is on my bucket list though. My Dad worked at Freightliner during that period and I think at some point one should be in my collection. Restoring it back to a V12 truck would be cool. Can't even find the link now. Someday

It is in Chehalis, WA. I think the ad died. Wish I had saved the pictures. Justin (Bullnose) called the guy last night and got the critical details. Watch the Seattle Craigslist and it may pop up again. I would think that would be a pretty long haul. There are quite a few in this area that pop up fairly regularly.

Sure looks like this 67' is a winner. Timing wasn't right for me to get it but maybe next time or maybe later.

I do like that 67' and I hope the new owner at some point re-prioritizes and sells it to me someday. :)

Priority #1 is and always will be the kw :) other prioritys may be worked on sooner then #1 due to lack of funds :P Right now im working on priority #3 then will restore priority #4 (Dragsaw) once priority #3 (new shed) is 'done'. Its starting to get wet outside so time to move onto the "winter projects" and get that shed done enough to work in when its wet.
Theres a bolt together building kit sitting in stacks in the back at work, about 25'X70' i told them i was goin to use it till they needed it, they didnt fall for it.

Truck appears that it was ordered by and delivered to a John C. Ward presumably sometime during 67'.
