Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner Larry. I now remember taking them to the dump and paying eight bucks each to get rid of them. That's a shame because they still held air and came off the rims fairly easily. A lot of times they are rusted on so bad you need a sawzall and a torch to get them off. Good luck with your project and post some pictures when it's done.

I'm proud of you Dennis! Take your time and try not to forget why they gave you the specimen cup.

I will keep locking I am resting from miner surgery at 70 years old I figured it was a good time for a vasectomy. I don't believe I could have disposed of them.

Dennis,
I'm really sorry to hear that. I thought I had finally found someone that had something I could make work. Thanks for taking the time to check on them for me.
Tony,
Did you have a chance yet to see if you had some laying around? Tires like the ones on your truck are just what I'm looking for.

Neat truck - I have often thought about some yard art, but we will see how the neighbours take the Pacific parked in the driveway first! Welcome!

Welcome Larry. I can appreciate the lawn ornament thing. I've been trying to get an early '50s Acar DC100 down the road for the same reason. It's got 12.00 x 24s on tandem torque arm axles. Power steering and a five with a four aux and the body is in pretty good shape. Trouble is it is double framed from the factory and salt has gotten between them and it's Swiss cheese now. It must have been a mixer or a quarry truck. The truck is only good for parts or I could plant posys on the bumper to please my wife.

Thanks for your kind words John. I know this can be a touchy subject sometimes but this truck is just too far gone to save. The hand crank dump bed is great shape however. Looks it hardly ever hauled a load..
Dennis and Tony,
Thanks for taking the time to check on the tires for me.
I sure like that truck on your trailer. I wsih mine was in that good of condition.
