I think it's a model 12  ( 1 ton ) from 1919 to 1921. Previously, the events in the hood were different.

Here, some of the specs for model 12 & 33 (1.5 ton) - Almost the same parts except for the rear axle & steering.

Stretch has this first, this truck is a Denby. I think Dan is right about the year, 1919-1921, and judging by the wheelbase he is correct on the model too, 1 ton model 12. Denby trucks were built in Detroit from 1914 to 1930. Their best years were directly after WW1. In the early years models ranged from 3/4 to 2 tons. Later models were as large as 7 tons. Most models were powered by Continental engines, although after 1924 the 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 ton models had Hercules power. Thanks to Mike W for the photo and Dan Souday for all the info.
