Thanks for this which I must have missed on the HCVC...

By the way, your old NR has a Dutch cousin (from Mackmuppet's blog,

Who made the cab on yours? Is it an adapted one or did you chaps have one of the Oz coachbuilders construct one? it certainly looks very good...

By the way, the Dutch had a large number of NRs after the war, possibly more than anywhere else in Europe (with the exception of France maybe). I think these NRs were no less important for the rebuilding of Europe than to victory there. It's hard ro imagine what it was like after WWII with almost no heavy trucks left (the Wehrmacht confiscated anything that moved (yes, even in Germany), they had serious shortages because their industry was not geared to producing the quantities of trucks they needed) and most local manufacturers barely alive.

Oh, and they had roadtrains in Holland:-)

Well it isn't a Pommy Bedphord cab, theirs had a split screen. Also the door cut-outs are different... Might be something produced by TJ Richards or Holden before they were a part of GM:ermm:

Got me flummoxed for sure... Whatever it's off, it looks as if it was designed for the NR, better than some of the European efforts.
