People need to post a little more often to keep the interest alive. I'm guilty of not posting even though I check in a couple of times a day. I'll throw in a couple of then and now pictures. I hope to have the truck at Lexington if I can get the work done on the lower sheet metal.

We haven't heard much from you in years, Swishy. Happy to see you post. Can you tell us the loading capacity of the 3000 single axle hauling what looks to be a D7 or D8 on 2 small axle trailer, but the D9 gets 16 extra tires on the jeep. Or is it the D9 trailer with much heavier rear axles, and the jeep needs to be used?

The HD 21 is a real beauty, my dad had one like that, one of the last of the cable dozers.

I've pulled some steerable trailers that had that, you can permit for 20K and axle when they are spread out, (80 K on the quad) where most states will not go that high if they are grouped tight. I did get 75K on a tridem with 54" spacing in Il once.

Swishy, early on in this thread you showed a wheeled steam engine you said was side loaded with the truck winch, if I interpret correctly. How do you side load a wheeled vehicle and transport it longitudinally on the trailer? Or am I misunderstanding?

Them straight stretches in the outback and get the speeds the same, not a problem! the tricky part is getting the prop to stop in the right position to miss the neck of the trailer!

With them short wings the speed musta really taxed that old Kenny

Swish, Thank you for your pictures and videos,, A Dumb Butt Yankee question.. Which is easier for a driver to work/load/unload, especially if he is alone, your folding deck trailer or our hydraulic detatch trailers??? I can see that you can get a little more load length as long as the deck can pick the weight up.. I realize your winch weighs more than a wet line if you are worried about gross weight..

Certainly was a good show at Wang, Swishy, noticed you still had that big load onboard. The air show was a great bonus but was pleased to see so many Ford Louisville's. I counted at least 9.
