After reading Deans post looking for rubber Autocar floor mats, it reminded me that several people were looking for the old style "rocking KW" heavy rubber mud flaps, was wondering if anyone found a source for reproductions? I know I would like to have a couple of sets, but no $$$ to buy them right now (as usual):D...........Doug

Doug,

Berube's has some in their 2010 catalogue (page 56). 3/8" Rubber composite anti-spray... 24"x30" $39.95 or 24"x14" $26.95 of course, + shipping & handling.

http://www.berubes.com/56.html

I hemmed and hawed last spring about gettin' em. Instead, I picked up a set of ATHS flaps at Huntsville.

Doug,

I have been trying (unsuccessfully ) for some time now to have this mudflap ( thanks to Jim Baker ) reproduced. No luck yet, the manufacturers won't do it without a letter of permission from Paccar, and Paccar Aust. won't give me permission to make them even though i have tried in all the right places, and they are not interested in doing a run themselves. If i can't get the OK after August this year ( all the top brass will be at Alice Springs for the Road Transport Hall of Fame meet ) then i don't know where to go after that. There is a fair chance the result will be favorable.       There are quite a few owners over here waiting for these flaps to be made also.

Swishy old mate,

Your right......but in '69, which mine is, the one in the photo was one of several options.

I'm making do with these.....mainly because Kenwoth gave them to me.

Murray, thats the ones I am looking for, the ones Chris posted would work, but the KW emblem is smaller. I have one in a little better shape than the one in your picture (but not much) I was hoping some one was reproducing them, I used to have a set of them but they disapeared some years ago, let us know if you can ever get some one to make them........Doug

73 is when the logo was changed to the newer style....at least here in the states.
