No clue - but when the dust settles I'd be interested in hearing how that - I assume its a crank hanging off the front is tied in. So I expect the engine is mounted cross wise or something? ray

In response to Ray88 - I think the crank hinged sideways to stow out of the way. You swung it over, pushed it in and then cranked. When running (after it had popped back at you) you swing it over to the stowed position and hang it on a clip. Perhaps someone else knows more about it and will comment.

Warren Richardson was 1st to get this old timer, this truck is a 1920's Seldon. I think Warren explained the starting crank quite well too. Thanks to David McNeil for the photo.
