I can still remember being about 12-14 yrs old standing out at the end of the driveway clearing the 4ft drift so my parents could get in. I watched a grader(ya back then they didn't just use trucks) slowing making its way down the street closing off every driveway. I just stood at the street with my shovel in hand.................and he lifted his blade as he passed by. I smiled and waved.

| Jim, Why would that be a problem. The city here plows shut every driveway they come to. Each storm also means they plow up at least 2 blocks worth of curbs so they have something to do next summer.

| The boss gave me some bad news today, he said that I plowed 149 driveways closed and totaled 5 cars. He is not going to fire me just yet but says that I have to improve. I hope to improve my driving abilities this winter so that I can put in an application at Jim Tomer's to become one of his all stars. It will be devastating to my ego if I get fired.
My wife says that I am not completely worthless and can always serve as a bad example.

I recently got this job plowing snow for Arnold here in California. I can't think of any more important work that a fellow could do.
My wife says that I am not completely worthless and can always serve as a bad example.
