I have noticed what I think is a crack in the aluminum housing that is between the main PT pump body and the compressor , I have a couple of spare pumps for parts. Question is when you split the housing apart from the main PT pump body ,are the two sfafts inside timed with each other or not? I have already taken one of my parts pumps apart and they do not seem to be timed. Are most of the PT pumps parts interchangeable?  Mainly the housing in question.    Ed Chambers

There is no timing any where on a pt fuel system. In general the front housing are the same for a ptg but there is some difference in a ptg and a ptr. Dont lose the spring assit spring or shims that go inside of the weights. That is if it is a ptg.
