| We are going to give this one to Davwingman, he pretty much has it. The correct spelling, if you want to call it that, is "Ortruc". I cannot find any other info on this vehicle, it is not listed in any of my very comprehensive sources. That probably means few were built, although they were "proved and improved thru three years of use". I recently bought this ad on ebay (there were no other bids, imagine that) so now you know as much about the 1959 Ortruc as I do.

Can't tell a lot from the picture and there isn't hardly any info out there, but looks to me as if it might be based on an F600, F700 Ford or something like that. The wheelbase would be shortened and the frame braced and beefed. The gas engine and manual transmission pulled out and sold for parts. Might be a low cost solution to a purpose built truck like a Cline. Just a guess on my part.
