| We'll give this one to John Dameron, even if he is on the fence. Rubber Railroad Company has been in the WAI at least twice, but Universal only once. This truck is a Canadian built Universal, and that is all I know about it. It appears to be all wheel drive. Below is the photo of the other Universal we ran, a mixer truck. There is not really much of a resemblance. Thanks to Brian Kelly for the photo. The mixer is from the Martin Phippard Collection at Hanks Truck Pictures.

That's the only other picture beside the two half cabs photos I have ever seen also. It's kinda of a mystery make that you can't find any info like the Dyna-tel and the Rubber Railway. If anyone has any additional info on any of those three makes it would very interesting to see.

Rubber Railway is in both Georgano snd Mroz books. But they do not list Universal, Dyna Tel, or Hercules. probably production was very small. Hercules built only 6 or 7 trucks. I imagine Dyna Tel was about the same.

Jules In the past Jeff L. posted a picture of a Rubber Railway Mixer on WAI. It had a Ford Louisville Cab and tandem steering with a mixer if i remember correctly. I have never heard of them before that episode. I enjoy the WAI but most if not all are beyond me. chocko.

Here are the 2 Rubber Railway Company trucks that have appeared in the WAI. Both have Ford "Louisville" cabs. RRC trucks were built in Cambridge Ontario, Canada starting in 1970. I don't know when they went out.

Oh yeah, I have a lot of pictures of Rubber Railways, I would just like to know more about the company and the articulation of the trucks, etc.
