Here's a rare truck I'm pretty sure no one saw last month. Emblem Removed.

Jeff, I guess I finally found the book at Macungie that you had advised me to look for; "The Illustrated Encyclopedia of American Trucks and Commercial Vehicles" by Albert Mroz and published by Krause Publishing in 1996. I guess I paid about $20.00 for it. It was marked $25.00 but I bought it with some other books and the guy discounted the total price just over 19%. Got 3 Iconographic books, "Autocar trucks, 1899-1950; Diamond T Trucks, 1911-1966; and Studebaker Trucks, 1927-1940. If I get snowed in this winter I should have plenty of reading material. As for tonight's truck, I have no idea. Guess I'll find out tomorrow night. Sorry you didn't get to enjoy the mud with us.

John, those are all good books, especially the Mroz book. Just don't believe everything you read in the Iconografics books, many of them have inacuracies. The photos are great though. Actually the Autocar and Diamond T books are by Robert Gabrick and are pretty good. I met Robert at the Huntsville show, he is a real nice guy. My Mroz book was in pretty good shape until I started doing the WAI, but now I use it about every night and the pages are falling out, the spine is broken and it is in about 3 major pieces (and several minor ones !) But it is packed with great information and photos. I will be expecting you to get a lot more of these WAI's now LOL !

I never was good at finding needles in haystacks so I don't expect my luck to improve now.

I don't know about the truck, but Cudahy had a plant in Wisconsin, Milwaukee I think. I delivered a load of pork bellies to them in the 70's. I wonder if they're still in budiness.

No one has this yet so we will leave it go for a while. The name was kind of a contradiction.
