Hey Kid, lookin good! With the muffler guards on the stacks, you dont notice the bottom height difference between the KW cab & Pete sleeper as much, also I am a big fan of the Mitre cut, mid height, with mufflers, & guards look. Keep up the good work!......Doug

Admittedly, I don't know my sleepers but that one looks real good on there.

Kid, I agree with what Doug said. Stacks make it look like it was built for that truck! Very well thought out! What are your plans for the paint? Can't wait to see how you finish it out!

Really looking nice. Call me crazy but I kinda like the banana-plum. Banana body, plum fenders and frame, could look good, be unique.

Got fancy half fenders on it now too. Stainless or alum?

Thanks..

Chris, 2tone blue of some sort..not sure if seminole style, like this kinda..

http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k185/dieseldozer/oct2009059.jpg   (minus white stuff)

or something different.. not sure whos this is, but sure has me thinkin too...

Mikee.. aluminum.. SS costs way tooo much

I think, when i paint it, if I go ahead and paint the sleeper door trim too, it wont show 'pete' so much.. If I ever find an A model bunk 'reasonable' , I can still swap it out, and the trim could just have the paint brushed off and be Pete again.. Still gotta get the interior panels swapped out for blue though.. think I might know where a set is, way out east..maybe..

JC, thinkin about it.. I got the tubes for it now, but still thinkin.. my 73 had dual stacks and single cleaner.. would just need to cut it, make the thin shield, and get a cleaner with brackets.. I was thinkin if I did, I would slighlty reinforce the inside of the hood cut with glass, just because ...

Still gotta get to napa vallet to get the Rhand step cover, hopefully soon.. and maybe make a weight box for the 5thwheel to calm the bumps a bit, and a bunch of lead would fill it nicely but no one has that much around here, so maybe cement in it. And maybe a Frank-style rear hitch plate..
