Joint Venture is the truck that I was involved in during its early years. When the truck started making good runs big money sponsor ship rolled in and kinda of forced one of the original two truck owners out. When Ray of the former Longview Diesel started getting pushed around I left.

I'm in the process of building a truck to run against the Joint Venture and the Phoenix. Unfortunatly the guy who mostly built and owned the Phoenxi passed away a while ago. Neat guy, old logger. His kid is going to keep running the truck it looks like which is a good thing. It's a nice looking truck and is FAST. In true "hot rod" fashion it's getting built out of parts laying around the shop. I don't really have any pics of it yet since it's just a pile of parts at this point.

I haven't decided what to do with the 903 yet. I have a good inframe kit and some custom fuel system parts to build a 800hp work truck. Was gonna repower my W900 with it, but I think I'm gonna run the 855 until it give up. The 903 will be turned up well past 800 at this point I think. Either be a puller or a drag truck. Depends on what truck I come up with I suppose at this point.

Too many projects and not enough money as usual.

Cant forget the pulling trucks    http://www.ladybutterflypullingteam.com/

This is the truck that lives just over yonder from me.   I grew up seeing this pull at Randolph fairgrounds back in the early 80's.   One of the very first big rigs that I ever saw that was an automatic.  He still worked the truck back then, it had a bunk on it.

I'm no expert........but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

The Rodeo du Camion in Quebec. All truck drags should be uphill, lol.  http://www.elrodeo.com/en/photos/   http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=rodeo+du+camion&search_type=&aq=3&oq=rodeo+d   My favorite is this one  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jxv2hOlFav4  He looks fast against that KW, but this Western Star takes him hard.Still fun to watch him launch though, lol.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o8YJ8Cgtic&feature=related   John

In the Tech questions and tips section, under the "pyrometer 3406B" thread, the thread starting turning towards truck racing after a reply made by Bullistik8v92 ( dont know his first name ) about a couple of Bonneville trucks and one drag truck, in referance to a Bonneville truck that he is working on, and a drag truck that he is brainstorming.

I figured with the weather turning cold, and the pavement turning slick, for those of us in cold country, its a good time to look at and talk about a subject that helps keep the blood flowing, lol.Anybody got any links, pics, stories, or videos ?.John
