Progress may have been all right once, but it has gone on too long.

Diamond t 969 A or B, 4 ton 6x6 with Holmes W45 wrecker , 1942 or earlier, Late 1942 all had open cab installed , Also looks to have some other type of engine installed ,Originally had Hercules RXC 529 cubic inch.
The difference A and B is, A truck was equipped with USA type lighting, B was British or Canadian lighting.
Could also be 1940-41 969 with later type radiator without diamond t logo cast in it. It would also have civilian gauges.

| Park was all over this one, this is an early Diamond T 969 WW2 wrecker with a Holmes W45 boom. I will defer to Jeff Jenson for the details, since he has one of thse neat trucks in his garage. Thanks to Daniel Souday (wc62) for the photos.
