| Daryl, Thanks, they attached fine, but they are a little small.Usually 150.0KB to 250.0KB makes for pretty good viewing.Did you take those with a cell phone or did you just reduce them a little too much ?.John

I have 3 pictures below of the big Kenworth and trailer. If this works I will put some more on. I am sure I have better pictures.

| Daryl, Glad to see you found youre way here, and glad to hear that rig found a good home. This will explain a little about posting pics. http://forums.aths.org/InstantForum414/Topic8620-23-1.aspx This explains how to resize them http://forums.aths.org/InstantForum414/Topic71444-14-1.aspx? I usually just click "reply", then when the page comes up to type youre reply on scroll down a little and you'll see a box that says " Edit Attachments ".Click on that and a small window will open that is titled "insert attachments ".In that window are three blank bars with rectangular buttons at the right hand end marked " Browse ".You click on "Browse" and a window will open showing you file locations on youre computer.Click thru till you find the pic you want to attatch, probably in the "my documents" or "my pictures" section of youre computer, then left click the picture once to hilight it and click the box in the lower right that says "open".The address to the pic will appear in the top of the three bars. When youve got three pics loaded in the three bars, click on "upload attachments".It will take a few seconds, but it will load the pics to the site, they'll show up on a list at the bottom of that window and the three bars will be blank again so you can load three more. You can load one or a hundred. When youve got them loaded, just close that window, then click "post reply" and youre good. PS, click on "search" at the top of the page some time and type in youre last name.Rob Balfour, Clayton Hoak, and I have mentioned you a few times. There was a pretty good thread on Lombards here a while back and I posted a few pics of youres from the Owlshead show.Any old thread can be replied to and brought back to the head of the line, no matter how old the last post is.John

[b] Both units now have a new home in Maine and will soon be transporting large, heavy, objects again. I have pictures of both units but do not know how to post them. Perhaps someone can give me a little help? Keep it simple, I am much better with a wrench than a computer.
Click on this link, it has instructions with photos and arrows and all that good stuff. http://forums.aths.org/InstantForum414/Topic8620-23-1.aspx

The previous Rocket transporter was a 1965 Kenworth 884C with Cummins V12, 700 Hp, 1710 CI. engine and Clark automatic transmission. The truck is almost 12' wide at the rear tires and sports 2 radiators in a V at the nose. Empty weight app. 50,000 pounds. The trailer was a 1965 Beall 16 axle. That is a dual axle in each line similar to trunnion axles but with a wider spacing. That means the 4 axle jeep had 2 axle lines, 8 tires each and the dolly has 4. The front 2 on the dolly steer and the tillman operates from a cab located at the rear left of the dolly. 48 tires total. The trailer is 15'3" wide and weighs 140,000 pounds without the transport deck or a load.
