Any of you good ol' boys got an allison mt 640 tranny that's still good layin' around? I'm afraid mine in my 76' IH 1910B Cargostar is toast! I can get a reman for $2200.00, but taht's a bit steep for me right now. Might have to grit my teeth and take the hit though. I'm fond of the truck and don't want to give up on it, and things are gettin' pretty dry up here in God's country. A decent used one would be just fine for me as long as it works.
