Unless you are keeping them - if you do a good job restoring them, you could offer it as a service to members. We send you a worn emblem, you send it back restored.

Kenny1965 (11/11/2011) I am looking for old kenworth and cat metal emblems to re-finish because it is a hobby of mine. Could someone please direct me to places where I may be able to buy them?

This is what's on the air cleaner box of my 884C. They are about 12" x 18".

On the individual letters, they are hard to find, and the chrome is always shot on them. Has anyone tried to get some water jet cut? If you obtained a small sheet of stainless steel, #8 mirror finish on one side, (the same thickness as the original letters), and brought rough samples (or even tracings) of the individual letters, a water jet place could cut them out of stainless. If you stuck them on with real automotive 3M emblem tape (like they use on cars), you'd never get them off again. You could try drilling part way through them and tapping the holes, etc., etc., but that emblem tape is pretty sticky stuff.

Yes, they are getting hard to find. I believe they were "high door handle wide nose only". I only had one, which was hard to believe?...............
