I'm afraid Facebook has taken a lot of traffic away from this forum. ATHS has a pretty good FB page but doesn't have the expertise that used to be on this forum.

Gold standard....not so sure about that but if you need help with most things truck or trucking related then I would suggest you get on over to J.O.T.

For governments who try to tax themselves into prosperity is like standing in a bucket and trying to lift themselves up by the handle.

I'm disappointed in receiving ZERO replies to my question that has been out there for over a week. For a long time, I have considered the ATHS and its members and its collective vast knowledge as the gold standard of truck and trucking history. I assumed that there was an immense pool of institutional and tribal knowledge among its members concerning all things related to trucks and the trucking industry from yesteryear. I don't consider my question to be of some obscure or arcane item from 100 years ago. What happened??

What was the first year for this model? It looks identical to an AT-64. My A_Car in the photo is an 1987 ACL64FT.
