Here's a mid 1920s White Model 51A with a winch and gin pole fixtures. It's a true prairie survivor, complete and undisturbed since it last worked.

Ready-mix company I drove for back in the mid-1970's had two White Construcktor's that were very similar to that White. They were 1970 models, 185 Cummins & 5+4 transmissions, 44,000# Hendrickson rears and 20,000# frt axles all on Super-Singles. They had 5 other 1966 Whites, of the more popular longer nose conventional cab, think called a Mustang, longer wheelbase, 165 Cummins, same 5+4.
The NEW trucks were '74 Diamond Reo's, 555 Cummins, 208 hp, 5 spd Allison with a 3 spd Brownie, were either 8 or 9 yard REX mixers. Think there were 5 of those too.
They tended to run their trucks WAY beyond their experation date, typically 10-12 years before the better old trucks became "spares".
If you want a REALLY rare show truck, a readymix truck would be great. Can't say I've ever seen a picture of one at a show.

The Chevy caught my eye also .
The White is a 9000 model, [short hood] , and probably mid '60s .

I didn't think there would be any interest in the Chevy. If I remember right it has a 671 Detroit in it. I'm sure it could be had for $500.00 or less. If you or someone has interest in it I can get some pics of it before the gas ax gets to it.

What about the blue 9500 sitting to the right of the CO4000? If they were withing a 1000 miles of me I would absolutely take the Co4000. You don't see them.

I like the White. If rarity means anything, there was a bajillion of the Transtars and not a lot of that White model. It would be rare to see at a show.
What about the Chevrolet? Already spoken for?

That's probably a '68-'70.
