The Northbrook, Il Historical Society has a late 1920sReiland & Bree Dump truck with a 6 Cylinder Continental engine. The plateon the engine identifies it as “25 16R 320”. The truck has had some restorationwork done on it, looks fairly presentable and rolls ok. The engine however ismissing its intake manifold. If we can find a manifold we can begin therestoration process on the engine and drive train.

We have been unsuccessful so far in locating any informationabout the engine and manifold. Not even pictures. Continental engines were usedin many trucks in the 20s and 30s, we should be able to findinformation/pictures/parts somewhere. Can you help us?

FYI, the Reiland & Bree trucks were manufactured inNorthbrook. The production started in the mid 20s and stopped in thedepression. So far as we know this is the only remaining one.
