I recently bought a HO (!/87) Athearn model of a 2 axle White Freightliner tractor. I model 1957 - 1967. Can anyone tell me what the official model designation would have been? The model has dual exhausts and the 4 headlight package. The front wheel wells have the semi-circular opening (no flat top).

A photo of your model could possibly nail down your question.

For governments who try to tax themselves into prosperity is like standing in a bucket and trying to lift themselves up by the handle.

There may be no such actual truck. Maybe the builder had left over parts and he put something together that is not real. Have you searched the internet to find your truck?

Ahhh, there's nothing like the smell of diesel fumes in the morning.
