John-----I've been involved with a diesel conversion group since 1980, and have had my own version on road since September 1984. The name of the group outings goes by "Diesel Confab", and this year a reunion is scheduled in Walkerton, Ontario, Ca on the weekend if July 13th . It is hosted by Jim Scott who has a 40-50s Diamond T 201 sheet metal on a newer Dodge Diesel chassis . 6BT Cummins, of course . My conversion started out as a '70 GMC with Detroit Diesel 4-53T, Spicer 3152 main 5 speed with Spicer 5831 auxilliary trans . I put close to 300K as a working truck with a 4-53N , and the turbo version since 1997 . You can reach me at Junkmandan3@gmail.com ..........Dan Renovetz

Hi My name is John Hepworth and I'm looking for interesting garages working on vintage pickup truck restorations and customizations.

In the past I co-directed a show called Rez Rides about two Mohawk garages doing American Muscle cars as well as modern customizations.

If anyone either runs a garage and would have time to speak with me about some of your truck projects, I'd appreciate it, or if anyone could suggest shops I should get in touch with.

All the best
