My dad had a “G” Mack for a couple years when I was in my teens - I really liked driving it but dad never cared for it . That one was a 205 with 13 spd Triplex - some different gears so you didn’t split the 4-to 5 shift. That truck had a bit of vibration that we never could get solved and tended to shake things loose on the engine - guess that was part of why he sent it down the road - must have been more than 50 years ago

Congrats on your Mack. Mack has some of the best archives of any manufacturer and if you email your serial number to them they may be able to get you some info fairly quickly. There is/was a backlog for mailed info. As far as I know, they are manned by volunteers so please send a donation. Their email address is mack.museum@macktrucks.com
