Hi there. First post. I'm looking to install a hydraulic power steering pump onto an engine that does not have one. From photos, and from a 6V-92TA engine I have, I've seen the pump is usually mounted at the rear on the upper left side. I have a couple of Vickers steering pump(s) with one being spline drive, the other keyed. I think one of them is originally from a 71 series but don't know anything further.

I have a V-71 series service manual but it only covers the engine and nothing with additional add on equipment. Would someone be able to furnish a photo of what is needed or a parts breakdown?

Thanks a lot.

IT.

Thanks a lot.

Glad it worked out, I didn't have the correct info for sure, so figured no response was better than wrong info.

Thank you Geoff. I had researched parts but have no parts books available and there are several variants. I set up an account with these folks whom have access to photos and parts numbers online: https://www.powerlinecomponents.com/ . This allowed to at least get into the "ballpark" of what was needed. Ultimately, I just had to ask the right person for all to shake out as it did.

Thanks,

IT.
