I ran into this diesel in an old tugboat recently. It had apparently been purchased from someone scrapping an old crane. It is approximately the size of an old GM 6-71, so I assume it is around 150 HP, but I have been unable to locate any information on Murphy engines. Does anyone know and Tech Data on this engine?

I'd post a picture but don't know how to do that.

Try Gerhart Machinery in Litiz, PA. Their website says that they stock old and used parts for Murphy diesels.
Long time ATHS supporter, has a Mack event at their shop about the first week in October each year.

Northwest Crane/excavators used Murphy Diesels if you come across any info on Northwest. Murphy was built in Milwaukee, I think.
