Back in the day when the paper boy picked up his papers directly from the delivery truck. Emblem removed. Photo from Bill White.

David Boudrie jumped out ahead of the class on this truck, it is a 1940-41 or so Willys. This little delivery van was introduced in November of 1939, and was only built for a few years before the war. Hudson built a very similar looking model but in photos it appears to be bigger than the Willys. Thanks to Bill White for the photo. The ad is from Dan Souday, while the 1939 article is from Commercial Car Journal.
