Digging up this old thread and I'm pleased to know a youtuber has posted the full album on that website.

The song was called Keep on Trucking and was sung by Larry Scott the ex country station DJ. Its starts at 12mins 49 secs on the youtube link.

Some other great songs here too.

Curiously, Can anyone tell if on the first track the diesel engine sound effects is a 6V or an 8V Detroit starting and driving off, up though the gears ??

Hey Brocky, Love Slim but one Of my favourite songs he sang wasn't trucking related but about our famous transcontinental train.

Digging this up from 2012.

After just recently watching the pilot for Moving On (In Tandem) Larry Scott features on the radio while Will Chandler is driving his K100 in the opening scene. he since passed away in 2016. Great tunes.

Thats correct except if the songs get played on broadcast or in any paying event, bar, etc the radio station or venue gets charged license fees by BMI ASCAP or SESAC.

If someone makes compilations strickly for private use there is no lic fee.

This stuff is almost as regulated as trucking. Or least they are trying to!

If I sold these they would be right on me for copyright even though some of the songs are 40+ years old and most will never get played on any corporate radio station.
