Agree with Bill everything I see says 1940 Chevy or GMC - only curiosity is if we are right the front fenders have been trimmed way up instead of extending forward to the bumper - so maybe it is from a European or Australian GM affiliate.

This vehicle is a Chevy. An interesting design no less. The cab was civilian, bu the roof was "cut off" at the factory and it retained a civilian windshield. High flotation tires were fitted, this vehicle was 2 wheel drive believe it or not and was designed to be used a a desert enviroment.
