This truck is not a big step up from the wagon next to it. Emblems removed.

Very possible that it is one of the experimental / prototypes which George Brockway built on his fathers wagons betweet 1910 and 1912.

He formally incorperated the Brockway Motor Truck Co. in 1912.

Please set aside the second weekend of August 2012 for the 100th anniversary blowout in Cortland NY. We are expecting between 150 and 200 vehicles to show up.

Hmm, 130 and some odd views and no one has this yet. Two of our regulars have sent me a different view of this truck a while back ......  This 1912 truck reminds me of a famous feud.

Well, nobody said McCoy, so we'll give this one to Brian B. This truck is a 1912 Hatfield, and resides in the Drakes Well Museum in Titusville, Pa. Charles B. Hatfield began building highwheelers in Cortland, New York in 1907 but this venture only lasted a year. By 1910 he was back in Cortland where he established the Hatfield Motor Vehicle Company and built small 1/2 and 1 ton trucks powered by a 3 cylinder air cooled engine and using a friction transmission. A 10 passenger bus was also built. In 1911 production moved to Cornwall-on-Hudson, and later to Elmira before production ended in 1914. The 2nd photo below was sent quite some time ago by both Brian Kelly & Bill White.
