Here's another interesting fire truck from Jesse Walter. Emblems removed.

Don is right about Hahn, but I believe Warren is also correct about the Hendrickson chassis. Hahn built trucks starting in 1907, but in the mid 1930's they started to specialize in fire apparattus which they continued to build until 1990. This 1939 model was built for the Altamont Fire Department. That distinctive grille work and hood side panels are identical to those found on Hendrickson trucks of the same period. Thanks to Jesse Walter for the Hahn photos.

Jeff,

I agree with you, that's why I included sheet metal work in my answer.

The Hahn fire truck has been for sale for over a year.  A friend of mine keeps sending me potential purchases.

It was on Fenton Fire about four months ago.

My garage is just over 21 feet deep, 7'6" high and 16" wide, so my truck choices are limited.

Jules, I should have given you credit for being first to name both.
