Here's something a little less tractor like, but not much ! Emblems removed. Photo from Bill White.

We are still waiting on the correct answer to yesterday's brain buster.

The hood and spoke wheels look like FWD. Agree with Brian and Don.

I agree with FWD, an early Blue Ox.

I'll say Oshkosh just to be different.  When we find out the year that'll be good in the annals of logging arches as an example with the weight on the drive axles.

I won't argue that this is a "Blue Ox" as there probably was more than one style, but my dad acquired one from a sawmill/logging operation that ,from memory, was quite different looking. It was much more 20s looking with an exposed radiator, no compound curves anywhere. I'm assuming that the winch and boom had been replaced with a 5th wheel, because it had been used as a spotting/yard mule. As a teenage kid I wanted to make something out of it, but it disappeared in a big clean-up

Everyone knew what this is, with Brian Kelly first off the line. This is a FWD Model BX "Blue Ox" forwarder, or log skidder. Apparently these go back to at least 1956. Thanks to Bill White for the WAI photo, Warren Richardson for the ad, and Dan Souday for the specs below and the attached article.
