Here's an old timer with a heavy pedigree. Emblems removed. Photo from Don MacKenzie.

Jeff, you forgot to mask/paintshop the wheel's hubs.
Drawing is uncomplete, levers (gear & brakes on the right side) are missing, at least the upper portion of them.
The 3 ton chassis price was 3.250$ in 1910 , raised to 3.400$ in 1913.

Alco's win, 5-3. The American Locomotive Company of Provodence, Rhode Island decided to go into a new sideline and began building trucks in 1909. Models ranged from 2, 3-1/2, 5, and 6-1/2 tons. At about the same time Alco also produced a line of luxury cars, so they had most ground transportation needs of the early 20th century pretty well covered. All Alco trucks used the same COE design as our WAI truck. Tractors were also built for articulated fire engines to replace horses. By 1913 Alco decided its future was best served by returning to it's roots of locomotive manufacturing, so truck and auto production ended. Thanks to Don MacKenzie for the great color Alco ads, and Bill White for the photo, and Dan Souday for the other ad.

Actually Dan, I saw the hubs but figured if anyone knew that was the Alco logo more power to them !
