There is a premium attached to a unit with an 08, I drove those back in the day and yes at the time they had some serious grunt, also had 3 friends that owned them who were happy with them but when the time comes that you have to get into them the cost would buckle most people's knees. They as well licked up the fuel pretty good, it didn't take long before they were surpassed by the ever increasing power output of various renditions of the 3406's and N-14's not to mention better fuel economy and cheaper maintenance costs. There was the weight factor to consider also.
