This is such a minor suggestion, I almost embarrassed to add it.

To my aging eyes, it would be helpful if the name of the poster was displayed in a larger and/or bolder font.

Maybe I just need to get used to the new format (which I love !!), but when you scan the page, it isn't immediately clear when the next post begins. If the poster's name was bold or larger, then the next post would jump out

This suggestion is nothing more than a gnat on a beautiful broad clear windshield; great job with the new website !

Thanks,

George,

Men also have trouble with the colors green and blue. We changed the color scheme on account of that.

The size of the type showing the message posters name is not something that I have the ability to change. However I think there is a solution for you if you use Microsoft's built in web browser.

In the bottom lower right of your web browser you should see this

Click on 100% once and your screen will get 25 % bigger,

click again and it will increase to 150% of it's original size.

If you want to go back to the original size click it one more time.

The only thing that bothers me is some of the topics in the tech reference, I was under the impression, my own, that the tech section would be excerts from manuels that you deemed fitting, what I see are conversations out of the disc foreum copyed to this page, what my concern is, is that someone reading this might take it for gospel and a lot of the answers are from people that are guessing about the solution or just typing to say something, modifications to trucks, steering, frame, suspension  and such need to be engerniered or have been on the same model and type of truck that someone is trying to repair, so if someone takes advice in this section to use and it fails, such as a steering repair or modifoication, that they didn't follow instructions to or the poster didn't know what they were talking about could result in a problem, can we say liable, I don't want myself or this organization out on a limb for erronoues information.

I can't get anymore out of it, I've got both sticks hot clear up to the knobs allready.

Aaron actually the Library is where the excerpts from the manuals will be

the tech refference forum will be where discussions of tech stuff will happen and when some one posts some usable technical data it may be copied and formated to fit in the library

Right now the tech refference forum needs cleaned out and most of the discussions to be moved over to the road kill but I haven't had time to read all of them and see what needs to be pulled  it was populated just to have something to show

Underdstood.  but no one one this board is a tech with the exception of about probly 4 or 5 people, several people with experiance in many fields, paint, engines, trans, computer savy, but I don't know that I'd put their neck on the line.

Aaron,

How about renaming it something less official sounding, like the " Help & How-to " section. It will be the place where folks can ask for help without having their questions get buried in the daily BS of the cafe. Most of the post there now are along that line anyway, basically " How do I do this?" or " Does anyone have a diagram of....? ".We can keep the " Technical Referance" title for the library section where all hard data, the manual pages and diagrams/scematics, will go.Doing it this way wouldnt have anymore legal langauge liability than we currently have answering questions at the ATHS forum. We could also add a "grain of salt" disclaimer in that category's description so everyone entering would know that we arent claiming to be experts.John

I am like Arron on this tech stuff and have been concerned about things being applyed in the wrong way and i took most of my wrighting off some time ago because of the limited spaced and also i relie on my memory any more and that can be wrong. I think my topics should be put in the I THINK section. Realy whos is to know about any ones anwser unless he knowes the anwser himself.

Dennis,

All you have to do is click on the ATHS banner at the top of each page! And I added a link just below that.

Thanks Dennis
